In this new position, Mr. Rintala will be responsible for a range of operational areas including work flow management and general business efficiencies across the organization, real estate and facilities, disaster planning and business continuity, workflow management and purchasing in both the U.S. and internationally. He will report directly to Evan Greenberg, President & Chief Executive Officer of ACE Limited.

Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Rintala served as Senior Vice President, Customer Marketing and Retention, for Chase Home Finance, a division of JPMorgan Chase. Earlier in his career Mr. Rintala held a variety of operations, risk management and strategy positions with American Express in the United Kingdom and in New York, and several finance and process integration positions with U.S. Bancorp.
From 1982 to 1987 Mr. Rintala served as a field artillery captain in the United States Army. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, and holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado.
