PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 15, 2005--ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of The ACE Group of Companies, today announced the appointment of Paul Ramsey, Executive Vice President, to lead the ACE USA Claims unit. Based in Philadelphia, Mr. Ramsey will have overall responsibility for the ACE USA Claims unit, which is staffed by a team of experienced claims professionals dedicated to providing smart, innovative claims management in the most responsive manner. Mr. Ramsey will report to John Lupica, President and COO of ACE USA.

With over 30 years of claims experience in the property and casualty insurance field, Mr. Ramsey joins ACE USA from St. Paul Travelers, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Claim Field Operations. He has held numerous senior leadership positions in claims operations with St. Paul, Reliance and Travelers. Mr. Ramsey earned his bachelor of arts degree from Union College.
