PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2006--ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, today announced the appointment of Joyce van Ravenswaay as Senior Vice President and Direct Marketing Strategist for ACE's Accident & Health Division. Based in Philadelphia, Ms. van Ravenswaay will have overall responsibility for developing and executing a multi-faceted direct marketing and distribution strategy for ACE's Accident & Health Division. Additionally, she will oversee the ACE USA Disaster Mortgage Protection(SM)(DMP(SM)) insurance product unit.

With more than 25 years of direct marketing experience in the insurance and healthcare industries, Ms. Van Ravenswaay most recently served as Vice President, Healthcare for Harte-Hanks Direct. She previously held senior leadership positions in direct marketing, account management and sales for several organizations, including Marsh Affinity Group Services, Kemper Insurance Companies and National Liberty (now AEGON & American Financial). She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Florida State University and is a member of the Direct Marketing Association.
