PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, today announced the appointment of Carl Sutter as Vice President, ACE USA Regional Operations, National Corporate Risk Segment Leader.

Based in Philadelphia, Mr. Sutter will have overall responsibility for leading the efforts to drive middle market distribution strategies on a national and regional basis across all ACE USA product lines—thus ensuring a consistent delivery of product and service levels to producers and clients. Additionally, Mr. Sutter will lead the formation and implementation of regional and national producer advisory boards, which is a newly-created initiative. Mr. Sutter will report to Christopher A. Maleno, President, ACE USA Regional Operations.

Mr. Sutter brings more than 17 years of diverse experience in the insurance arena, all of them at ACE USA or its predecessor organization. He most recently served as Assistant Vice President and Corporate Risk Segment Leader for the ACE USA Mid-Atlantic Region, where he was responsible for developing broker and client relationships, marketing and cross-marketing initiatives and managing regional operations initiatives. His previous positions include various field operations, account management and business development roles. Mr. Sutter received a Bachelor of Science degree from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.
