PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Philadelphia-based employees of the ACE Group of Companies are pleased to participate in the 15^th Annual Philadelphia Cares Day as presenting sponsor. On Saturday, October 18, ACE employees from offices in Philadelphia and Wilmington, along with their families and friends, will join nearly 10,000 individual and corporate volunteers in a city-wide, organized day of community service to help improve Philadelphia’s public schools.

ACE employees will participate in two community service projects: helping with indoor painting projects, cleaning and organizing, and outdoor landscaping and clean-up at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in North Philadelphia; and working with students, teachers and staff on a decorative tile project at McCall Elementary School in the Washington Square neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Greater Philadelphia Cares is a non-profit organization that mobilizes people to address the critical social, educational, and environmental needs of the Greater Philadelphia region through volunteer action.
