BOGOTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ACE Group of Companies announced that Pilar Lozano has been appointed Country Manager for ACE Colombia. In this role, she will have responsibility for leading all of ACE’s Colombian operations, including property and casualty (P&C), accident and health (A&H) and life insurance businesses. Ms. Lozano is based in Bogota and reports to Jorge Luis Cazar, President & CEO of ACE Latin America. She replaces Miguel Sierra, who has left the company.

Ms. Lozano has more than 20 years of experience in the Colombian insurance market, most recently serving as A&H Vice President for ACE Andina (Ecuador and Colombia operations), a position she held since 2007. Previously, she was A&H Manager for ACE Andina from 2001 to 2007. She joined ACE in 2000 as Commercial Vice President for the P&C business in Colombia.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Cazar said, “Thanks to her agility and dynamism, Pilar has become an effective leader for ACE in the Colombian market. Her experience in important roles in both the property and casualty and accident and health businesses in the region make her well suited to take on this new challenge as ACE’s Country Manager for Colombia.”
