NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ACE Group today announced that it has appointed Yancy J. Molnar Vice President, International Government Affairs. In this role, Mr. Molnar will assist in developing and implementing government affairs activities to support ACE’s global insurance and reinsurance operations. This primarily includes representing the company with U.S. and foreign government officials and business groups and serving as an industry resource on trade, legal and regulatory issues. Mr. Molnar, who will be based in Washington, D.C., reports to Patricia Henry, Executive Vice President, Government Affairs.

Mr. Molnar joins the company from Chrysler LLC, where he was most recently Director, Public Policy, responsible for external affairs in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and China. Over nearly 10 years with Chrysler and DaimlerChrysler, he advanced through increasingly responsible positions based in Washington and Beijing, China, that focused on international government affairs and public policy efforts. From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Molnar was an advisor with Washington-based International Business-Government Counsellors, where he advanced to Vice President.

“We are pleased to have someone of Yancy’s legislative and public policy credentials and achievement in international government affairs join our organization,” said Ms. Henry. “His range and depth of experience, particularly his work while based in China, will be extremely valuable as ACE continues to expand its extensive business presence around the world.”

Mr. Molnar holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bucknell University and an MBA in finance from Johns Hopkins University.
