PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ACE Group of insurance and reinsurance companies today announced that Daniel Briones has been appointed as General Manager of The ACE Conference Center®, an accredited member of the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC). Located in Lafayette Hill, Pa., The ACE Conference Center houses 120 beautifully appointed guest rooms, 38 dedicated meeting rooms and extensive dining room, and recreation facilities perfect for business meetings, executive retreats, training and management development programs, and special events, including cocktail receptions, barbecues, weddings and banquets. Mr. Briones will report to Gregory Pennell, Senior Vice President and Global Administration Officer, ACE Group.

With more than twenty years of experience in the hospitality and event management industry, Mr. Briones joins ACE from the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia, where he served as Director of Sales. He previously served in various sales and event management positions for Interstate Hotels and Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. Mr. Briones has served as a past President of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), and has published articles on various topics relating to the meeting and event industry that appeared in both regional and national business and trade publications. He holds the Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE) and Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) professional designations.
