New Senior Appointments for ACE Asia Pacific’s Property & Casualty Unit
Aug 27, 2010

SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Asia Pacific, a part of the ACE Group of Companies®, global leaders in insurance and reinsurance, announced today two senior appointments for its Property & Casualty business unit in the region. The individuals are:

Peter Kuczer, Global Client Executive, Asia Pacific: Peter is part of a new team of Global Client Executives who are tasked to work collaboratively with clients and distribution partners in major markets around the world. This single point of engagement is the cornerstone of ACE’s Global Program Solutions (GPS), where brokers and clients can avail themselves to ACE’s multi-line, global network of products, services and industry-leading technology.

Based in Melbourne, Peter will be responsible for engaging multi-national and large account clients and ACE’s distribution partners to effectively deliver sophisticated risk management programs that will actualize the full benefits of the company’s global resources and capabilities. Peter comes to ACE with over 30 years of industry experience with significant skills and knowledge in multinational dealings, captive/client management as well as in sales and marketing. He has worked for several major international insurers and most recently as Regional Manager, Multinational & Risk Managed Accounts with a global insurance company in Australia.

Jason Keen, Regional Property Underwriter: Based in Singapore for his newly created position, Jason will focus on the corporate property business being placed by major brokers into the Singapore market; a key centre for major property placements in Asia. With a strong underwriting background and track record, Jason will underwrite and coordinate major placements with ACE offices around the region. Astute in relationship management and business development, his primary responsibility will be to ensure that clients and brokers have the most appropriate access to ACE’s Property capabilities in the Asia Pacific.

Jason, who was previously with a major UK insurance syndicate, will commence with ACE on 1 October, following his relocation from the US. This is Jason’s second stint in Singapore, having played a lead role in establishing Asia as a key revenue earner for an international UK syndicate during 2007-2009. Jason brings to ACE a wealth of knowledge and experience gained globally with over 10 years in the industry in London, Asia and most recently in the US.

On the two new appointments, Jarrod Hill, Regional Head Property & Casualty, ACE Asia Pacific, said “I am pleased with the addition of Peter and Jason to the talent pool to boost ACE’s business prospects in the region. I expect these executives to make a real difference in how we engage with our clients and distribution partners in Asia Pacific so that they can tap on the breadth and depth of our risk management expertise.”
