PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group, today announced the reorganization and expansion of its Marine Facilities unit, with the formation of a dedicated Philadelphia office. The newly-established Philadelphia office will be the unit’s national headquarters, and also will serve the East Coast and Midwest marine facilities market. Joining together with ACE’s San Diego and Tampa underwriting centers, it will provide access for agents, brokers and their clients to skilled underwriting and comprehensive solutions aimed at protecting the full scope of their marine facilities operations.
Kim Finlay has been appointed as Assistant Vice President and National Underwriting Manager, ACE Marine Facilities, to lead this national unit. Based in Philadelphia, PA, she has overall underwriting authority for the entire ACE Marine Facilities book of business.

With more than eleven years of experience in the insurance industry, Ms. Finlay joined ACE in 1999, and most recently led ACE’s Northeast Regional Middle Market Property unit. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from James Madison University in Virginia, graduating magna cum laude, and a Master of Science degree in Insurance Management from Boston University. In addition, Ms. Finlay holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) professional designations.
