NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ACE Group of insurance and reinsurance companies today announced that Juan Andrade has been named Division President, Global Personal Lines and Small Commercial Insurance, ACE Group Holdings. Effective December 1, Mr. Andrade will be responsible for the company’s property and casualty personal lines and small commercial business globally. He will report to Evan G. Greenberg, ACE Limited Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, as well as company Vice Chairmen Brian Dowd and John Keogh.

Mr. Andrade joins the company from The Hartford Financial Services Group, where he was President of Commercial Markets and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to this position, Mr. Andrade served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Property Casualty Operations.

Prior to joining The Hartford in 2006, Mr. Andrade held senior management positions with The Progressive Corporation. He started his career at American International Group (AIG), where he worked with the company's international property and casualty businesses both in the United States and overseas. Prior to his positions with AIG, Mr. Andrade worked in national security and international affairs within the U.S. Federal Government's Executive Branch and The Executive Office of the President.

Mr. Andrade received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Florida. He holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and Latin American Studies from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
