PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group, today announced the appointment of Karen Griswold as Senior Vice President, Commercial Marine. Based in Philadelphia, Ms. Griswold will have responsibility for leading and managing all aspects of ACE USA’s Commercial Marine business in the United States. Ms. Griswold’s responsibilities will include national profit center strategies, field underwriting operations, and risk control services for the Ocean Cargo, Commercial Hull, Marine Facilities and Marine Liabilities lines. She will additionally be charged with fostering the overall profitability for ACE USA Commercial Marine.

With more than twenty years of marine underwriting experience, Ms. Griswold joined ACE in 1999. She most recently served as Vice President, ACE Commercial Marine, with responsibility for managing the Commercial Marine Field Operation, ACE’s Marine Facilities Group, and the Marine Liability Unit. Prior to her tenure with ACE, she served as Assistant Vice President in CNA’s Commercial Ocean Marine Group. Ms. Griswold received her bachelor’s degree in marketing from The Pennsylvania State University. She holds the Associate in Insurance Management (AMIM) professional designation.
