ACE USA Appoints Bryan Tedford Senior Vice President to Lead Field Operations, Foreign Casualty Division

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group, today announced the appointment of Bryan Tedford as Senior Vice President with the Foreign Casualty Division. Mr. Tedford, based in New York City, will report to Kenneth Riegler, President, ACE USA Foreign Casualty, and President, Multinational Client Group, North America, and will be responsible for national field operations.

In this position, Mr. Tedford will lead a team of underwriters in 18 cities, to deliver solutions to clients across all nine ACE USA regions. He will also oversee relationship management, sales, marketing and production, staff management and regional operations.

With more than 22 years in Property & Casualty and the Accident & Health arena, Mr. Tedford joins ACE from Chartis, where he served as Commercial Lines Manager in Central Europe as well as in the Commonwealth of Independent States Region. Prior to that position he served as Regional Manager of Chartis’ U.K. Southeast Region, from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, he held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, focusing on commercial underwriting and sales, for more than eight years in Atlanta, Georgia and London (U.K.). Prior to his tenure with Chartis, Mr. Tedford served as a commercial insurance Accident & Health Broker with LDP Consulting Group Inc., in Atlanta.

Mr. Tedford earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia. He has served as Past President of the European CPCU Chapter. He holds both the Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation.
