MANAMA, Bahrain--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE has today announced the appointment of Shankar Krishnan to the position of Regional Casualty Manager for its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) business. Shankar will be based in the company’s Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) operation whichopened in December 2010.
Shankar joins ACE from Chartis in Dubai where he was the Branch Manager, responsible for the management and business development of the company’s Dubai operations. He has over 15 years experience of the casualty market in the MENA region, having previously held Underwriting and Management positions throughout UAE and India.
Shankar will report into Steve Dixon, Regional Managing Director for ACE MENA. Steve Dixon comments: “I am delighted to welcome someone of Shankar’s experience to ACE. He is well positioned to help continue the growth of our highly profitable Casualty portfolio throughout the MENA region.
