PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ESIS, Inc., (ESIS®), a risk management services company and member of the ACE Group, today announced the appointment of Lee W. Farrow as Senior Vice President, Client Services and Business Development. Mr. Farrow will oversee a range of essential functions within the organization including managing the eight Regional Managers who have direct responsibility for all ESIS’ client service, account management and sales. Mr. Farrow will report to David K. Patterson, ESIS President.

Mr. Farrow has been with ACE since 2002. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of ACE Life Sciences, a division of ACE USA Mr. Farrow helped to establish. In this role, Mr. Farrow led the group that underwrites biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical and medical device companies, contract research organizations, and human clinical trials. Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Farrow was Assistant Vice President at CNA where he managed the life sciences operation. He was with CNA for seven years and served in various capacities including claims and in-house counsel. Mr. Farrow is an attorney admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Hartwick College, located in Oneonta, New York, and his J.D. from City University of New York School of Law. He is a frequent speaker on clinical trials, litigation, insurance and risk management issues at various industry conferences as well as the American Bar Association. Mr. Farrow was the founder and Co-Chairperson of the ABA Product Liability Committee’s Biotech Subcommittee, and served on a steering committee that organized a summit on ethics and human research at Fordham University.
