ROTTERDAM, Netherlands--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE Group today announced the promotion of Lauretta Alberti to the newly created position of Senior Environmental Insurance Underwriter for the Benelux and Nordic region, as it continues to grow its environmental insurance capability across Continental Europe and expands its customer proposition in the Benelux and Nordic markets.

In this role, Lauretta Alberti will have responsibility for the development and underwriting of environmental insurance programmes across the region, working with ACE’s European team of specialist environmental risk underwriters, to help brokers and their clients by undertaking assessments, identifying specific environmental exposures and developing the right insurance cover for their needs. Lauretta will report to Dorothee Prunier, Environmental Insurance Manager, Continental Europe and Ron Verhulsdonck, Country Manager, Benelux. The appointment takes place with immediate effect.

Lauretta Alberti has 25 years of insurance industry experience, including 11 at ACE. She joined the company in October 2001 as Senior Casualty Underwriter. Previously, she worked for Credit Lyonnais Bank Assurantiën, as Manager Marine and Liability, Claims and Broking, and at Gebroeders Sluyter and Erasmus Verzekeringen (formerly AC Fraser & Co) as Marine Claims Handler.
