SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE in Asia Pacific, part of the ACE Group of Companies, announced today that the company will launch its inaugural Regional Day of Community Service, during which ACE employees across the region will participate in active volunteerism and / or raise funds for charitable organizations.

During the designated week of 15-19 October 2012, ACE’s employees across 10 Asia Pacific markets will be involved in community projects that primarily align with ACE’s over-arching philanthropic theme of ‘Going Green / Conservation / Recycling’ or ‘Education / Health and Support of the underprivileged children or the elderly.’ The 10 markets include the ACE offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia/New Zealand. The community projects encompass beach clean-ups, blood donations to Red Cross, raising funds for children with cancer, cooking for the homeless, charity auctions and the like.

The Regional Day of Service is an opportunity for all employees to rally together and dedicate a small part of their time working on local community projects. In short, it is ACE’s way of giving back to the communities in which employees live and work.
