Shannon O’Brien, Multinational Account Executive for ACE in New Zealand, has been named as a finalist for ‘Young Insurance Professional of the Year’ at the 2015 New Zealand Insurance Industry Awards.
Hosted by ANZIIF, the Awards honour the achievements of companies and individuals within the New Zealand market throughout the previous year. The event unites all sectors of the insurance industry in celebration of best practice and high achievement.
Shannon overcame a highly competitive field to reach the finalist stage of this prestigious award which is a fantastic achievement in itself. A distinguished panel of industry judges has deemed her work over the last year to be amongst the best for a young professional in the industry. And it’s easy to see why.
Shannon has played a key role in helping to foster relationships with ACE’s strategic growth partners in New Zealand. She has a strong commitment to superior customer service which has led to New Zealand achieving a 100% service score across all measured categories for ACE multinational service standards. Shannon has also excelled in her role as a committee member for the Young Insurance Professionals (YIPS) organisation and she has been a driving force behind many successful events for ACE and YIPS.
The awards process culminates in one of the New Zealand Insurance Industry’s biggest events. On Thursday 5 November 2015, Shannon and a delegation from ACE, will join over 350 insurance leaders at a gala dinner in Auckland where the winners will be announced.
