Chubb has announced today the appointment of Scott Pickering as an Independent Director to its Board of Directors in New Zealand.
Mr. Pickering brings a wealth of global insurance industry experience to his position on the New Zealand Board.
His role will include supporting the Chubb management team on issues relating to strategy, performance and resources of the local business.
Mr. Pickering is currently the Chief Executive of the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and previously held executive leadership roles for Willis International and RSA Insurance Group.
He worked for ACE Insurance Limited in various management roles from 1989 to 2005.
Incoming Country President for Chubb in Australia and New Zealand, John French, said; “I am delighted that Scott has accepted a role on the New Zealand Board. He is a highly respected insurance executive and I look forward to his counsel on matters of strategic importance to Chubb in New Zealand”.
