GLENVIEW, Ill., Aug. 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Combined Insurance, a leading provider of individual supplemental accident, disability, health, and life insurance products, and a Chubb company, hosted its annual Combined Insurance Golf Outing, raising more than $20,000 to benefit Chicago-based military veteran charity—The Jason McKie Foundation. Nearly 100 of Combined Insurance's employees, vendors, and other guests came together to golf and give back at Old Orchard Country Club in Mount Prospect, Ill.

This year, the golf outing offered 60 vendor-donated auction items and a dinner ceremony which included opening remarks from Jason McKie, former pro football player and founder of the McKie Foundation, and a special guest appearance by football legend Dan Hampton. Also in attendance was Johnny Knox, former pro wide receiver.

"The Combined Insurance Golf Outing is just another way we continue to give back to the communities in which we live and work," said Brad Bennett, President of Combined Insurance. "We are honored to be a partner, raise awareness, and offer support to the Jason McKie Foundation for all they do for our military service men and women. Earlier this year, Combined Insurance announced its partnership with the McKie Foundation, serving as the number one sponsor and supporter for 2016. Founded in 2008, the foundation works to raise awareness and provide emergency support for military families. McKie expressed his gratitude to Combined Insurance during the dinner reception.
