13, December 2016 — Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad, formerly known as ACE Jerneh Insurance Berhad  recently embarked on an innovative brand campaign to raise visibility for its new corporate identity that showcases a palette of nine complementary colours; reflection of the company’s diversity, optimism and energy.

The Chubb brand is a well-known name in the insurance industry globally and is often associated with quality risk management products and solutions complemented by its renowned claims and customer service. To educate the general public locally about the Chubb name, the company deployed innovative brand activation tactics and online marketing to create market buzz in Kuala Lumpur and Penang.  Tow trucks with Chubb branded cars in tow cruised around high traffic areas in Kuala Lumpur and Penang while making pit stops at popular eateries and shopping malls to distribute free gifts to the public.  Interested members of the public were also invited to take part in an online contest where the winner would walk away with fuel vouchers worth RM1,500.

In Kuala Lumpur, Chubb branded cars and tow trucks were seen in Bukit Bintang, Jalan Ampang, Petaling Street, Merdeka Square, Masjid India, Mutiara Damansara, Subang Taipan and Sunway.  In Penang, the brightly branded vehicles made their rounds in areas such as Victoria Street, Upper Beach Street, Fort Cornwallis, Batu Ferringhi, Gurney Drive and Georgetown.

“The change of our legal entity name was in line with our ultimate parent company, Chubb Limited’s (formerly known as ACE Limited) name change following the completion of its acquisition of Chubb Corporation in January 2016,” said Steve Crouch, Country President for Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad.  “Chubb will continue to build upon the strong foundation of ACE Jerneh where we had an established  brand presence in Malaysia.  This initiative is one of many activities we will embark on to ensure that the public is aware of the transition from ACE to Chubb.  The Chubb name may be new in Malaysia, but our commitment remains the same – to provide our customers, business partners, employees and other stakeholders with superior quality and service that they have learnt to expect,” he further added.
