Chubb Appoints Lou Capparelli Executive Vice President, Global Casualty Business in North America Major Accounts Division

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J., Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb today announced that Lou Capparelli has been appointed Executive Vice President of Chubb's Global Casualty business unit, which provides a full range of domestic and foreign casualty insurance coverage offerings and service solutions to large national and multinational companies within the company's North America Major Accounts division.

Mr. Capparelli, in this expanded new role, will have overall responsibility of the day-to-day operations for Chubb's full range of global casualty coverage offerings, service and technology solutions. The field operations and core underwriting functions responsible for delivering Chubb Global Casualty's product suite will report to Mr. Capparelli. He will report to Matt Merna, Chief Operating Officer, Chubb North America Major Accounts, and will be based in New York City.

Mr. Capparelli joined ACE Group in 2002 prior to the acquisition of Chubb in 2016. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Chubb Global Casualty's Field Operations. In that role, he spearheaded efforts and implemented strategies that centered on delivering Chubb Global Casualty's full range of capabilities and services to distribution partners in Chubb's U.S. and Canadian branch offices. Mr. Capparelli received his Bachelor of Arts dual degree in Economics and Political Science from the University at Albany (SUNY), in Albany, NY, and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business. He holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation.
