Chubb today announced that Ross McCallum has been appointed as Head of Independent Brokers, Australia & New Zealand. Mr. McCallum brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry with roles that encompassed technical underwriting, claims as well as strategic distribution management in the United Kingdom and Australia. In his new role, he will report to Jason Hawksworth, Head of Distribution, Australia and New Zealand.
Mr. McCallum joined Chubb in June 2018 as the Steadfast Key Account Manager and proved his strengths in relationship management, sales and marketing strategies; achieving successful growth. As the Head of Independent Brokers, he will be responsible for refining Chubb’s go-to-market strategy and oversee the company’s relationships with independent brokers.
Working with dedicated independent broker distribution teams in six locations, he will ensure high standards of service and deliver across all aspects of independent broker partnerships. He will also take a lead role in the company’s Cornerstone program and work closely with Chubb’s Small and Middle Market Division.
