July 25, 2019 – Chubb has appointed Jason Hawksworth to a new senior role leading its Distribution team. As Head of Distribution, Australia & New Zealand, he will take responsibility for ensuring Chubb has a strong focus on broker intermediated business serving small commercial, mid-market and major account clients.
Jason has two decades of insurance industry experience including the past four years with Chubb. In his previous role as Head of Chubb’s Independent Broker Unit, he achieved strong growth with independent brokers and deepened broker relationships via the establishment of the Cornerstone partner program.
In the new role, he will build on broker relationships, working closely with Chubb’s Australian branch operations in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide, and also New Zealand operations in Auckland and Christchurch.
Chubb’s tailored approach to different broker segments will continue including global brokers, Cornerstone partners, cluster groups and independent brokers.
