Johannesburg – 12 February 2016 – Chubb today announced the appointment of Alexandra Schudel as Head of Financial Lines for its insurance subsidiary, ACE Insurance Limited South Africa.
In her role, Alexandra will be responsible for the development and profitable growth of the company’s financial lines portfolio, with an emphasis on directors and officers (D&O) liability, public offering of securities (POSI), professional identity (PI), medical malpractice, and cyber risks.
Alexandra has thirteen years of relevant insurance industry experience. She joins the company from Aon where she was responsible for managing a portfolio of over 400 clients across all industry sectors and financial lines business development. Prior to that, Alex spent ten years in Europe holding various senior underwriting and management positions with responsibility for a broad range of financial lines products. Her appointment is effective immediately. Alexandra succeeds Quinton Kotze, who is relocating to Chubb’s Australia office to take up the position of Head of Financial Lines, South Wales.
