Hong Kong – Chubb Life, the global life insurance division of Chubb, today announced that its operations in Hong Kong has been awarded the title of “Best-in-Class”, the highest accolade in two categories, namely Whole Life Insurance (All Currencies) and Human Capital Development at the reputable BENCHMARK Wealth Management Awards 2017 (“the Awards”).

Chubb Life was also honored with the “Outstanding Achiever Award” in two categories, namely Critical Illness Insurance and Annuity Plan. Winning such prestigious accolades in these Awards for five consecutive years underscores Chubb Life’s commitment to nurture talented individuals that turn our mission – crafting protection for people you love, your home, your business, your employees and things that matter to you – into reality by fostering innovative products and services for our customers.

Winning the “Best-in-Class” title in the Human Capital Development category is exceptionally meaningful. The company employs the one-year long, learner-focused ALPS Leadership Program, which uses talent-specific psychometrics to diagnose leadership development needs. Now in its eighth year, the Awards recognize providers for their best practices in five key areas including products, good governance, client experience, digital capabilities, and brand, and are determined by a distinguished panel judges including industry judges, peers and customers. A public engagement element was also introduced to the competition this year, incorporated with two new processes: Public or Peer Voting and Customer Feedback. To further evaluate the performance of these companies through direct engagement with their customers, social media followers of shortlisted finalists were invited to share their opinions of their insurers.
