Ho Chi Minh City, February 1, 2017 – Chubb Life Insurance Vietnam Company Ltd. (“Chubb Life in Vietnam”) officially launches the “C Care Health Insurance product”. This is the first stand-alone health insurance product of Chubb Life in Vietnam, following the Adjustment License granted by the Ministry of Finance in Vietnam recently, which allows the company to provide health insurance products locally.
Customers aged from 1 month to 60 years old are eligible to buy the C Care product, and will be insured during the 5-year renewable coverage term. This product provides customers protection against cancer at different stages.
Chubb Life in Vietnam will pay 50% of the face amount (up to VND 500 million) if the insured is diagnosed with cancer at the early stage.
Chubb Life in Vietnam will pay 100% of the face amount (deducting any claims previous paid at early stages) if the insured is diagnosed to have late stage cancer.
Tailored to the needs and financial abilities of a wide range of customers, the premium of the C Care product is affordable and remains unchanged during each 5-year term the policy is in effect. To make it more convenient for customers to pay their premium, other than the regular payment, customer can also choose the single-pay option for this product.
With the launch of the C Care product, this is also the first time Chubb Life in Vietnam features its simplified underwriting process. Customers only need to answer 4 questions in the simplified underwriting questionnaire(1), for the company to consider to issue the policy. Moreover, the C Care product also accepts diagnosis of cancers from hospitals in Vietnam and many other developed countries and territories worldwide, providing customers with choices of medical examination in Vietnam and abroad.
