PT Chubb Life Insurance Indonesia (Chubb Life Indonesia) held a guest lecture at Padjadjaran University (Fikom Unpad) on May 8th 2024, as part of it’s committment to enhancing financial literacy and inclusion among younger generations, and in line with the vision of the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Currently, insurance penetration in Indonesia stands at only 5% compared to the Gross Domestic Product (GDB).
Mr. Kumaran Chinan, President Director of Chubb Life Indonesia said, ‘We are committed to supporting increased understanding of financial literacy and life insurance inclusion among Indonesia’s younger generations, in alignment with the Financial Services Authority’s vision to raise the financial literacy index in Indonesia. Financial literacy is the gateway to empowering Indonesia’s youth with the knowledge and ability to effectively manage their finances, making a significant impact on their financial well-being and helping them to realize their dreams.’
The Financial Literacy activity in collaboration with Hima Humas Fikom Unpad, which included a guest lecture attended by hundreds of students from the Faculty of Communication, Padjadjaran University (Fikom Unpad), exemplifies Chubb Life Indonesia's dedication to enhancing community welfare by providing financial management knowledge through the Financial Literacy program in the education sector.
