10 June 2020, Yangon, Myanmar – Chubb Life Myanmar has announced the launch of three insurance solutions namely Chubb Health Shield, Chubb Accident Shield and Chubb Critical Illness Shield. With affordable premium payments, the products are designed to provide a peace of mind and reduce people’s financial burden in the event of illness, accident or hospitalization.
Unexpected life events like accidents, surgery, critical illness and death can place tremendous stress on a dependent’s financial and emotional health. With the continued rise in healthcare and medical costs, the need for financial protection is critical to protect family and loved ones in case of a crisis.
To provide this, Chubb Life has launched three insurance solutions with various benefits as follows.
Chubb Health Shield provides financial protection of up to 10,000,000 MMK in case of hospitalization due to illness, hospitalization due to accidents, and death. The premium payment is as low as 33,000 MMK per year. Customers can also add on additional coverage for surgery, miscarriage and clinic visits. It is eligible for age between 6 to 75 years.
Chubb Accident Shield provides financial protection of up to 20,000,000 MMK in case of accidental death, accidental disability and hospitalization due to accidents. The premium payment can be as low as 35,000 MMK per year. It is eligible for age between 16 to 65 years.
Chubb Critical Illness Shield provides financial protection of up to 10,000,000 MMK for covering medical expenses due to critical illnesses (heart attack, stroke, life-threatening cancer, etc.). The premium payment starts from 26,400 MMK per year. This is eligible for people between 6 and 60 years old.
