Jakarta, 22 June 2020 – Chubb Life Indonesia has partnered with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) and distributed food packages to more than 200 families that are impacted by the pandemic. The total value of the distributed packages is almost 50 million rupiahs. This initiative is part of Chubb Life’s participation in the Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program initiated by Pemprov DKI Jakarta and Forum CSR DKI Jakarta.
Kumaran Chinan, President of Chubb Life Indonesia said, “The pandemic has undoubtedly affected the household income of many people in Indonesia. As a company whose main focus is protection, it is essential for us to help build resilient communities. This initiative, in partnership with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, will help ease the burden on those who are vulnerable to the economic impact of this pandemic. We believe that collective efforts through collaboration will ensure we can get through this difficult time together.”
The distributed food packages included essential grocery items, and were handed to the residents in Tanah Abang, Bendungan Hilir.
DKI Jakarta Provincial Government appreciates Chubb Life Indonesia and other partners who have participated in the KSBB program, which provides a platform for stakeholders to collaborate and overcome this difficult situation that is faced by the world.
