BANGKOK – March 4, 2025 – Chubb Life Assurance Public Company Limited (Chubb Life Thailand) today announced the launch of a new critical illness product ‘CI Extra Plus 90/10’ and ‘CI Extra Plus 90/20’, offering customers lifetime protection against critical illnesses, and peace of mind should the unexpected happens.

‘CI Extra Plus 90/10’ and ‘CI Extra Plus 90/20’ are designed to provide financial support in the event of critical illnesses, offering coverage for 50 critical illnesses and an additional 15 juvenile diseases. Customers have the flexibility to choose between a 10- or 20-year premium payment period to best suit their circumstances, with benefits reaching up to 215%* of the initial sum assured throughout the contract, helping customers manage medical expenses with confidence.

Key features and benefits of CI Extra Plus 90/10 and CI Extra Plus 90/20 include:

• Long coverage period: Coverage for life and critical illnesses that extends until the age of 90
• Covers 65 critical illnesses:
  • 5 diseases for Critical Illness Group 1, according to the Office of Insurance Commission**
  • 45 diseases for Critical Illness Group 2, according to the Office of Insurance Commission**
  • 15 juvenile diseases
• Multi-claims:  When diagnosed with a disease in Critical Illness Group 1, customers receive a 25% payout of the initial sum assured and claim up to four times
• Comprehensive Coverage: If a significant illness is identified in Critical Illness Group 2, customers will receive a one-time payment of up to 100% of the initial sum insured and will no longer need to pay premiums, while still enjoying ongoing coverage
• Continuous Care: Medical treatment expenses covered for Group 2 diseases with additional payout of 10% of initial sum insured throughout the duration of the contract
• Premium remains constant for the duration of the contract. Customers can choose a premium payment period of either 10 years or 20 years
• This plan addresses 15 critical illness affecting juveniles. A special lump sum of 100% is provided for the diagnosis of these diseases between the ages of 31 days and 15 years
• Comprehensive coverage benefits: The maximum coverage is up to 115% initial sum assured while in cases of critical illnesses found in juveniles, this can increase up to 215% of the initial sum assured
