Following last year’s launch of personal accident insurance, this year’s partnership introduces motorcycle insurance to protect riders and passengers of one of the most common forms of transport in Thailand. This enhanced coverage showcases Chubb Samaggi’s commitment to delivering comprehensive protection tailored to the needs of food delivery and ride-hailing users.

With the addition of motorcycle insurance, the partnership now offers an even broader safety net, addressing the unique needs of those who navigate the bustling streets on two wheels. The insurance includes essential benefits such as medical expense coverage, compensation for accidental death regardless of fault, and robust protection against motorcycle damage and third-party liabilities. This means that both riders and passengers can travel with confidence, knowing they are well-protected.

Key features of this insurance include:

Personal Accident Insurance for cars and motorcycles

• Automatic cover for riders and passengers in the event of an accident while providing or receiving the services via the LINE MAN app.
• Coverage for any losses or injuries from an accident under the insurance conditions, regardless of fault.
• Coverage for medical treatment compensation in each accident up to 100,000 Baht per person.
• Coverage for accidental death, dismemberment, loss of eyesight, or permanent disability due to an accident, up to 200,000 Baht per person.
• Coverage for murder and assault up to 200,000 Baht per person.
   

Motorcycle Insurance

Coverage for combustion motorcycles, with no limits to vehicle age or cubic capacity.

For riders and passengers

• Coverage for loss or damage to the insured motorcycle caused by an accident, fire, or theft up to 10,000 Baht per accident.
• Coverage for the rider and passengers in the event of death, dismemberment, or permanent disability up to 50,000 Baht per person.
• Coverage for bail bond up to 200,000 Baht.

Liability to third parties

• Benefit for death, dismemberment, or total permanent disability, covering only the excess in addition to compulsory insurance coverage, up to 500,000 Baht per person, but not more than 10,000,000 Baht per accident.
• Coverage for property damages arising from an accident up to 200,000 Baht per accident.
