Chubb Life Indonesia Shares Kindness in the Month of Ramadan

PT Chubb Life Insurance Indonesia (Chubb Life Indonesia) hosted a Ramadan Charity series "Chubb Life Indonesia Shares Kindness," which took place in four cities: Jakarta, Surabaya, Palu, and Jember, from March 12 to March 21, 2025. The initiative provided school supplies,  essential assistance to children in need and most importantly, basic financial management education, to foster children's financial knowledge from an early age.

Taking place at Panti Yasni in Jakarta, Panti Asuhan Pesantren Bismar Al Mustaqin in Surabaya, Yayasan Panti Asuhan Nurul Qodiri in Jember, and Yayasan Panti Asuhan Al-Hijrah Duyu in Palu, the series supports the mission of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in improving financial literacy in Indonesia, as well as the National Smart Financial Movement, GENCARKAN program, to increase the financial literacy index in Indonesia.

Chubb Life Indonesia continuously runs financial literacy programs and provides community support aimed at children, women, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This series was conducted in collabortion with Dompet Dhuafa, a philanthropic organization focused on social and humanitarian programs.

Kumaran Chinan, President Director, Chubb Life Indonesia, said, "We place great importance on supporting the communities we live and work in. During this month of Ramadan, we aim to foster the spirit of sharing by bringing happiness to children. Chubb Life Indonesia is committed to helping children in our local communities and equipping them with essential financial literacy, so they can prepare for future challenges and achieve a better life.’’

Ahmad Sonhaji, the Director of Social, Humanitarian, and Da'wah Programs at Dompet Dhuafa, stated, "We appreciate Chubb Life Indonesia's initiative that not only provides assistance but also equips children with financial literacy. This collaboration aligns with Dompet Dhuafa's mission to support education and social welfare. We hope that this spirit of sharing continues and has a broader impact on the community."
