WELLINGTON – After approximately 5,000 handshakes, 3,000 canapes and over 13,500 kilometres of travel, Paula ter Brake, Chief Executive Officer, Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand Limited (Chubb Life NZ), has wrapped up her first nationwide tour connecting with over 800 Advisers across eleven locations from Auckland to Invercargill.
Commencing just 24 days into her new role, the Midwinter Connect event series ran for nearly three months. Paula, alongside Chris Hand, General Manager – Distribution and 39 members of the wider Chubb Life NZ team, met with Advisers across Aotearoa/New Zealand to share what’s next for Chubb Life NZ and the important role Advisers play in their mission to help more New Zealanders protect what matters most.
A former Adviser herself, Paula highlighted the critical role Advisers play in safeguarding the future wellbeing of our local communities, regions and country. She emphasised the importance of building genuine partnerships and underscored Chubb Life NZ’s commitment to consistently exceed the expectations of the Adviser community.
Paula said, “We’ve made it our focus to listen to feedback and worked hard to continuously improve our product and service offerings to meet the needs of Advisers and their customers. Our growth over the past few years is a reflection of the trust Advisers place in us to be there for their customers when they need us most. We do not take this for granted.”
Advisers attending the events shared what it means to have the opportunity to hear first-hand from Paula about their role in Chubb Life NZ’s future and to be able to discuss their unique challenges face-to-face.
