NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ACE Group of insurance and reinsurance companies today announced that Suresh Krishnan has been appointed General Counsel for its Multinational Client Group. In this new role, he will have global legal oversight of the company’s multinational products and services initiative. Mr. Krishnan will report to Robert Cusumano, General Counsel, ACE Limited, and will be based in New York.

Mr. Krishnan will serve a critical role in furthering ACE’s strategy for managing and servicing multinational businesses and will be an important resource for ACE’s North American and international businesses. His work with ACE’s international legal team will ensure both a cohesive global perspective and a local tailored approach to legal and other technical matters that impact multinational insurance programs.

Mr. Krishnan, who most recently served as General Counsel of ACE USA, brings more than 18 years of industry experience to this new role. He joined ACE in 1999 as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of ACE Capital Re. Prior to his tenure with ACE, he held various legal positions with the Gerling Group and the Swiss Re Group. Mr. Krishnan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law.
