NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ACE Group today announced that Ashley Mullins has been appointed Global Compliance Officer. Based in New York, Mr. Mullins will have responsibility for providing ethics and business practices guidance and related education throughout the ACE organization, and maintaining a global monitoring function to evaluate compliance. He will report to the Audit Committee of ACE Limited’s Board of Directors, as well as to ACE Limited Chairman and CEO Evan Greenberg and General Counsel Robert Cusumano. He replaces Audrey Samers, who was recently named Deputy General Counsel, ACE North America, and General Counsel of ACE Private Risk Services.

Mr. Mullins joined ACE in 2002 as Legal Counsel to ACE Asia Pacific. In 2006 he was appointed Company Secretary and General Counsel to ACE Australia and New Zealand and played a leading role in the legal and functional integration of the ACE and Combined Insurance businesses in those countries.

Mr. Mullins holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from Bond University in Queensland, Australia, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Sydney. He is admitted to practice before the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
