ACE Wins Two Underwriting Service Awards [From Post Magazine]
Nov 25, 2011

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ACE today announced that two of its UK underwriting teams have earned Underwriting Service Awards from Post magazine. ACE received both the Commercial Combined (Larger Risks) Underwriting Team of the Year and Commercial Combined (Smaller Risks) Underwriting Team of the Year awards at an event held in London on 22nd November at the Oval.

The Underwriting Service awards were based on objective input from over 1,300 UK commercial broking professionals, who were asked to grade the all-round professional calibre of underwriting teams at each insurer they've worked with during the previous 12 months.

Speaking in response to the awards, Pat Drinan, ACE’s Director of Corporate Risks, UK&I, said: “ACE prides itself on being first and foremost an underwriting company. The Underwriting Service Awards identify excellence by inviting feedback directly from the people we work closest with, the brokers. To have won awards for both the larger and smaller risk categories is a testament to the uniform strength of our underwriting teams and the high standards of service to which we hold ourselves.”
