Bangkok – December 1, 2016. Chubb Samaggi Insurance Public Company Limited announced today that it has appointed Ms. Nittaya Piriyathamwong as its Country President for Thailand, effective December 1, 2016. In this role, she will report to Paul McNamee, Regional President for Chubb in Asia Pacific.
Khun Nittaya has been with the company for five years, most recently as its Managing Director. Prior to that, she worked for The Insurance Premium Rating Bureau as a Secretary General for seven years and has held senior positions in the research industry.
On this new appointment, Mr. Paul McNamee said, “Thailand is a key growth country for Chubb as its dynamic economy presents many opportunities for expansion. With her local market expertise and proven track record of success, I’m confident that Khun Nittaya will continue to execute on our ambitious growth plans and take our business to its next stage of development.”
Business Integration Update
Effective from December 1, 2016, ACE INA Overseas Insurance Company Limited, Thailand Branch, a Chubb company will transfer part of its business, including all insurance policies in respect of Accident Insurance, Health Insurance, Personal Lines Insurance and certain insurance policies in respect of Property & Casualty insurance business to Chubb Samaggi. The policies of ACE Thailand’s customers transferred to Chubb Samaggi will be serviced by the Chubb Samaggi under the same terms and conditions from 1 December.
