SYDNEY, June 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb Insurance Australia Limited today announced the appointment of Rod McGeoch AO as independent director and non-executive Chairman of its Board. While perhaps best known to the Australian public for his role as Chief Executive Officer of Sydney's successful 2000 Olympic Games Bid, Mr McGeoch brings a broad range of business and governance experience to his new role for Chubb in Australia.
Mr McGeoch's previous appointments include Chairman of Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Chairman of Vantage Private Equity Group Limited, Sky City Entertainment and BGP Investments/Holdings plc. In 2013 Mr McGeoch was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for his services to the legal profession.
He is currently serving as Director of Ramsay Healthcare Limited and is also a boardmember for Destination NSW.
